KATE PECK CMT, ATC

A massage therapist and craniosacral practitioner, Kate combines muscular therapy, orthopedic massage, myofascial work and craniosacral therapy in her treatment sessions. Kate is also a nationally certified and licensed athletic trainer for the past 25 years, working with high school, college, semi-professional, and Olympic athletes. She graduated from Miami University in 1983 and attended the Master’s program in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training in 1984-1985 at the University of Virginia.
Kate brings her wealth of knowledge of the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and sports injuries, as well as her experience of listening to the whole body to assess and address the root problems. She believes that the information you gather from your eyes, ears and hands is of equal validity to the information you gather from your inner eye, inner ear and intuition.
Kate has been teaching Anatomy and Myofascial Work since she graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in 1999. She also speaks to local student athletic trainer programs about soft tissue massage and the role of fascia in the cause and treatment of athletic injuries. Kate has presented workshops on craniosacral therapy and myofascial scar release at several Athletic Training Conferences.
