LOU BENSON

Lou Benson is the founder and director of The Bodywork Education Project. She has been studying the 3-dimensional moving puzzle of the human body for many years, first as an athlete and amateur bodybuilder and beginning in 1990, as a student of massage therapy.
Lou has created and taught courses in Anatomy, Kinesiology, Relaxation Massage, Orthopedic, Myofascial, Neuromuscular Bodywork and Structural Integration for over 20 years. She is a certified practitioner and senior teacher of Kinesis Myofascial Integration (KMI), and teaches KMI in the US and abroad for Kinesis,Inc. She is also a certified practitioner of Aston Patterning. Lou’s goal as a therapist and teacher is to infuse her work and that of her students with increasing sensitivity, specificity, curiosity and consciousness.
Lou maintains a private practice in Atlanta, GA, and part-time practices in Cambridge and Worthington, MA.
